THE LAND WE HAVE THE HONOR TO GROW ON AND STEWARD IS ON CHEYENNE, ARAPAHO, UTE TERRITORIES IN BOULDER COUNTY. INDIGENOUS ROOTS RUN DEEP ON THIS LAND AND We feel that deeply and recognize the historical injustices of colonization. we honor this fact by working to decolonize our minds and farming practices.

protectING THE soil, water, and biodiversity WILL ALWAYS BE AT THE FOREFRONT OF OUR PRACTICES. composting, cover crops, reduced tillage, and careful water management help to reduce erosion and increase soil carbon and fertility.

we re‑weave biodiversity into our fields by using diverse crop rotationS, integrating perrenials, and keeping our fields chemical free.

beyond organic


we never ever use synthetic chemical pesticides, synthetic fertilizers, or GMOs. we go well beyond the standards set by the USDA organic certification.

we find that the usda's organic certification has greatly watered down what it means to be organic because of BIG ag. we would rather our finances go towards something more true and honest.

The farm slowly began to take shape while RACHEL worked as a farm hand for an incredible women-run organic vegetable and flower farm in Boulder while taking on an Environmental Science Masters program. The moment SHE started farming SHE knew that sustainable local agriculture that restores our land, communities, and health was the path for HER whether that be food, flowers, or herbs. Struggling with multiple chronic hormonal and autoimmune illnesses that have built up chronic inflammation and pain in her body as well as cyclical fatigue and depression she found medicinal herbs and food as medicine to be her saving grace. she realized sources for high quality and potent herbs were few and far between and that’s when she knew she wanted to play a small part in bringing high quality herbs and tea into the community.
